Description of Data Sets
The following Digital Data layers are supported in Google Earth at this time:

PDF Maps
This layer provides links to PDF versions of the ESI maps for current and past mapping efforts.

ESI Shoreline
Environmental Sensitivity Index (ESI) maps use shoreline rankings to rate how sensitive an area of shoreline would be to an oil spill.  Lines are color coded with hotter colors being, in general, more sensitive.

Oblique Photos
This layer provides links to oblique photos taken during overflights and used to aid in shoreline ranking.

Threatened and Endangered Species
A scaled down version of the ESI Biology mapping effort is included for Google Earth. See the OR&R website for more details on obtaining full biological data sets. The T_E Species layer indicates the count of T_E species obtained by laying a grid on the full ESI Biology dataset. Grid cells with higher counts are represented by hotter colors.

Access Points
A scaled down version of the ESI Human-Use mapping effort is included for Google Earth. See the OR&R website for more details on obtaining full Human-Use data sets. The Access data layer indicates locations of boat ramps, marinas, and access points for response planning.
